Tiger mosquito
Presence of the tiger mosquito in the commune
A survey conducted by the Entente Interdépartementale Rhône Alpes pour la Démoustication (EIRAD) confirmed the presence of the tiger mosquito in the commune (larvae and/or adults identified).
In order to combat the proliferation of this highly aggressive and particularly damaging species of mosquito, it is vital that we all get involved. The only effective measures are to destroy its breeding grounds (a female lays around 150 to 200 eggs), and consequently to eliminate all stagnant water.
Below is an identification sheet and recommendations for combating the tiger mosquito.
